I noticed that someone said that the makeup smells bad. Maybe they got a bad batch or something – I have never noticed a bad smell. This makeup is great because it conceals a lot of unevenness and is the only one i can find that does not break me out. The expensive kind makes me break out. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because it itches a little bit – but I think the itching has gotten less over the years – either they changed the formulation (it says new formula on it) or I am just used to it. The other issue is that it does have a little tendency to make creases more visible than some of the cream or liquid foundations – but it does not cause the face to shine – so I would prefer a few little creases to the shine. I have tried the veil stuff that you can put over it – but it makes me break out, as does the small concealer made by this company – both have a wonderful appearance on the skin – but it is not worth the acne. This product, on the other hand, does not cause acne – for me.

I will start off by saying I have normal to dry skin & perhaps this make up just isn’t for my skin type I don’t know but I hated it! First off the discusting putrid smell of this make up was so strong (kind of think Old School Cover Girl but worse) it made me want to vomit, between the smell & the heaviness of it on my skin I was constantly aware of the fact I had make up on through out the entire day at work & I just wanted to go wash this smelly, heavy, & cakey stuff off. I am 34 & don’t have wrinkles yet (Thank you God!) but this make up “made” creases on my forehead (I think a few other reviewers mentioned this too). The brush is also to compact & maybe this is why it goes on to heavy. It flakes, cakes, & smells putrid, two thumbs down!

My sister and I bought this powder and it has caused us both allergies and breakouts although we use other brands (mineral makeup) and nothing has ever happened. I tried it again recently thinking that it could have been just a phase, but it happened again. I suggest doing a patch test or something before putting it on your face.
